Montanas Play Kitchen

Like I promised, here are the working in progress photos....

The plans...

The drawers.....

The gutted Drawers....
Drawer full of broken up drawers....
Hole for sink....
Cupboard doors on, taps and sink in....

Getting there....

With oven door....

Finished....
So thats it. The kitchen was Drawers (garage sale $5) and has,
  • stainless steel tap set (ex display stock from bunnings $5)
  • Large stainless steel mixing bowl from woolworths as the sink($6 on special)
  • Four stove top elements (painted cds) covered in perspex
  • Two beautiful chrome teddy bears handles ($5 each bunnings)
  • One long chrome handle for oven door ($5 bunnings)
  • Painted dowel for a towel rack
  • Two pots of Nippon sample paint ($6 each)
  • One can of clear coat ($11)
  • Stove top dials and oven dial that turn (I used the old drawer knobs)
  • All of the wood used (except for the oven door and towel rack) was used from the drawers.
Im very happy with it and it cost about $80 all up. Montana is going to love it (she is under the impression a lady has bought it from me for her little girl for christmas)

I am yet to hook up an oven light and switch and change the wood rack to a steel rack for the oven.
