Im excited about this cupboard I got given to me the other day.....


No more sewing on my dining room table :) yay!!

Christmas time

Today is a busy one, putting up the christmas tree, doing some christmas shopping and getting photos done with Santa (if my children will go to him).

I will post some pictures once the day is done.

Heres a peek of the Montana and Jacobs Christmas outfits....

Blackboard Fridge

After having my fridge look like this for a while (minus a couple of stickers I started pulling off already).....

and then finally getting it back to this (which doesn't take long for it to get annihilated with stickers again).....

I made it more child friendly without all the horrible stickers......

Some quick things

I bought Montana some plain silver clips and Jazzed them up with some felt and buttons....


I bought some plain T-shirts aswell and we are going out for dinner, so I just added a lil something....


Both these are very quick and simple.
And my little man wearing it with a matching nappy!!

Preemie nappy

So I got asked to make a preemie nappy, (wouldn't have a clue about sizing) so made a mock one first....

This one is for Montana's doll and yeah I need to put another snap on. Its just old flannel wraps.


and here is the real deal....

Minky outer, microfleece inner, PUL and a full layer of bamboo fleece and sewn in bamboo booster.

Christmas Nappy

Its not too early for Jacob to wear a christmas nappy is it?


I wish I had red and green snaps, they would have looked heaps better.

Finally

Hollys High-Waist Pettiskirt

I have finally finished Hollys Pettiskirt. I am very happy with the outcome and this was the first time I have put eyelets in anything.

So here are a few photos, I will get some more when it is in action.



Instead of an elastic waist like Montanas Petti's, I set eyelets in the back (or front) which is laced up by some pretty purple satin ribbon.

The purple isn't this plum colour,

No more tulle, its serious nappy making time :P

Pettiskirt Update

Well it is taking me ages but I have almost finished Hollys Pettiskirt for her year 7 social. Im not going to put pictures up until it is finished, so heres a few things about it:

• It's Turquoise
• It has a purple ruffle
• I have put in a satin lining so she doesnt have to wear pants under it
• It is a high waist, fitted pettiskirt and
  
• Has a surprise but will have to wait for pictures
  

Once it's finished I am not going near tulle for a long time (Maybe a month, I want to make Montana a christmas one :P)
